Some desks are built for quiet focus. Others are built for adventure. If your setup leans toward the second camp, the Straw Hat Captain Deskmat was made for you. It takes the fearless, grinning energy of your favourite anime pirate captain and spreads it right across your workspace — turning an ordinary desk into something with a little more spirit.
A design with real personality
The Straw Hat Captain leans into bold, high-energy anime styling. Dynamic blue energy swirls behind a confident, adventure-ready captain, giving the mat a sense of motion even when it's sitting perfectly still. It's the kind of art that catches the eye on a video call, sparks a conversation, and makes sitting down to work (or game) feel a bit more fun.
Unlike loud, cluttered designs that fight for attention with everything else on your desk, this one strikes a nice balance. The composition gives your keyboard and mouse room to breathe, so the artwork frames your gear rather than competing with it.
Built for everyday use
Good looks only matter if the mat actually performs, and this one is built to. The large L-size surface stretches under your keyboard, mouse, and more, giving you one clean, continuous area to work on. The smooth cloth top offers consistent glide for both low and high mouse sensitivities, so your aim stays predictable whether you're editing a spreadsheet or clutching a ranked match.
Underneath, a non-slip rubber base keeps everything planted, even during fast movements. Stitched edges help the mat hold its shape and resist fraying over months of daily use — a small detail that makes a big difference in how long a deskmat lasts. And when it needs a refresh, a quick wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap is all it takes.
Who it's for
This one is an easy pick for anime fans and gamers who want their setup to reflect their personality. If you love One Piece–style adventure energy, the Straw Hat Captain brings that world onto your desk without going over the top. It's also a great gift for the friend whose battlestation is basically a shrine to their favourite series.
That said, you don't need to be a hardcore fan to enjoy it. The confident colour and clean layout make it a solid all-rounder for anyone who spends long hours at their desk and wants something with more character than a plain black pad.
Pairing it with your setup
The vivid blues play well with dark desks, RGB lighting, and white or black peripherals alike. If you like a themed look, it sits comfortably alongside other bold anime designs in our range — the Hashira Legacy Deskmat and the dramatic King of Hell Deskmat are natural companions if you like rotating your desk's mood. Prefer to keep the art as the star? A minimalist monitor stand and tidy cable routing let the mat do the talking.
